Vanguard Software Solutions provides custom software to small businesses and big corporations around the UK. They create everything themselves and develop technology never seen before, so it was important to convey within the brand a sense of futuristic innovation.
We faced a challenge with developing Vanguard’s brand as they are part of the Deity Business Group (just like MUSE Graphics) and so needed a strong brand identity that could stand alone but also be cohesive when shown collectively with the other 5 companies.
We worked very closely with the team to develop something that showed innovation and forward thinking, whilst being careful not to alienate the audience. We supplied a logo, website, database, web hosting, e-mails and marketing campaign materials within this project.

Web Design
Vanguard provides products that appeal to businesses that would benefit from using the full power of the web. So it was fitting that they had a high tech website to match!
We built the website from scratch, following closely what the client needed to visually communicate. With the use of colour and custom graphic elements, and a web mail marketing add-on that enables people to sign up for notificaiton on future software releases, we achieved the perfect design for the company.
The site scored very highly once we implemented our custom SEO, and was very quickly recognised by leading search engines. The company has seen a lot of interest since the web build has been implemented and received over 180 applications to the web mailing list within the first 5 days of launch: mostly from clients they wouldn’t have had access to without effective search engine optimization.
Logo and Branding
Vanguard was a completely new company, and the challenge you face with branding from the ground up is often that the business owner perhaps doesn’t exactly know what they want the business to say.
We worked cloesly with the managing directors to develop a brand that was effective in conveying their message and captured their target audience: we utilised our unique research strategies and focus groups to ensure we hit the nail on the head.
