Joseph Hind Hairdressing is a salon in Loughborough that aim to provide a higher level of service than their local competitors. Joe Hind, the salon owner, was formerly in a partnership with another salon group on the same premises, and has recently bought them out to venture out on his own. The salon needed a total rebrand that trasncended his local competition while resonating with the consumers in the area.
At MUSE we have extensive background knowledge in the hair and beauty industry and put this to good use. We utilised market research, focus groups and design experience to create a brand that not only represented Joe’s values but had a distinctly ‘London’ vibe.
We provided everything to get Joe started, from his POS to the signage design, business cards and price lists to online presence. Joseph Hind also took advantage of our social media starter package, and we ran a successful campaign that drove his web traffic up into the hundreds within 14 days.

Web Design
Joseph Hind didn’t have a web presence before contacting MUSE, even from when they operated under a different salon name. We began by discussing with Joe what his objectives were for the website, and built a design that was both modern bu user friendly.
We integrated a system with the e-mails we provided Joe that allowed clients to contact his directly for appointments. We also implemented effective SEO to ensure that those searching online for the best salon in Loughborough would find Joseph Hind Hairdressing.
All of the graphics used in the web build were custom made for Joe to his request, and we continue to provide Joseph Hind with their marketing materials and Point of Sale advertising imagery.
Marketing Materials
We provided Joseph Hind with everything they needed to succeed: from price lists and appointment cards to online media for facebook and instagram. We also ran a successful social media campaign that gained a lot fo interest in the website; generating hundreds of site visits in the first 2 weeks.
